I’m not one to review things on amazon but I want to tell everyone about this thing so here goes: I have a ton of straight fine hair and conditioners always either grease it up or frizz it out – until Lush! I was backpacking and had to eliminate weight so I picked one up on impulse one day in England, and I haven’t stoppped using it since (it’s been well over a year). It’s perfect amount of conditioning and cleaning, my hair always looks great (never greasy), I love the environmentally-friendly lack of packaging, and one bar lasts several months. The smell is good too – I’m super picky about things being scent-free but I like the light flower-spice mix of the Godiva, and it makes the whole room smell good to boot! HIGHLY recommended.

I have very bad skin and as a result I have to use lots of moisturizer. I have tried plenty of other moisturizers and this one is the best. I live in Florida and so I care about how the moisturizer reacts under heat. With most moisturizers the moisturizer will show up clearly on your face and can be awkward. This moisturizer doesn’t do that. It is not too thick (think Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Moisturizer) and not too thin. It also seems to be organic, which is nice. It’s doesn’t have an annoyingly strong smell like many moisturizers. For full disclosure, I am a guy and don’t usually spend a lot on moisturizers. This is the most expensive moisturizer I have ever bought, so maybe it shouldn’t come as a surprise that it’s also the best.

I love this conditioner. It smells SO good, and is very conditioning. Despite what some people may say, it is fairly easy to use. Just run it over your hair, if it doesn’t feel very covered, that’s ok, because it is. An employee at my local Lush said that Jungle conditioner also works well as a shave cream, and it does!!!! This goes especially well with Go Green solid Shampoo from Lush………..

Let me begin by noting the obvious – nothing is going to be an overnight magic bullet for severe skin problems, especially acne. However, Coalface is one of the better products I’ve used. It provides regular, gentle exfoliation courtesy of the small charcoal flakes included in the soap and sops up oil without being excessively drying. I love the smell – a dark, licorice/sandalwood scent – not everyone is a fan, but it does fade fairly quickly. Though I too have seen complaints of staining, I haven’t experienced this myself. Those used to more heavily packaged products do need to adjust to using a bar soap. Invest (not that expensive) in soap dishes that drain well. My choice is essentially a wooden grill type soap dish I found at IKEA – it allows full air circulation, and I set it on top of a folded paper towel (to catch any excess moisture dripping through) in my medicine cabinet between uses. Rather than rubbing the whole bar between my hands, I just scrub one damp palm across the top of the bar until I have a fair amount of soap, then rub hands together for lather. It’s very simple, just a bit different than the procedure for using liquid face cleansers.

I am not the kind of person to seek out fruity smelling products, and this was actually a gift, but oh it was soooo wonderful. It doesn’t *just* smell like berries–there is an herby undertone (it’s been a while so I can’t remember-was it sage? Thyme?) that REALLY balances out the fruit smell to make it very relaxing and not overpowering. And talk about a comfort. I used this on New Year’s Day, after spending the night walking around the city in some cute boots that did not feel so cute by the time I got home. My feet still hurt the next day (!) so I dropped in half of the comfort bar and had myself a bath. Not only was it comforting, my feet stopped hurting like magic. I felt wonderful all over, and even had a second bath to look forward to!

First, let me start by saying how shocked I was at the size of each color. They are very big and will last a while. I love the fact that the colors are matte finish. I have not been able to find many contour products that don’t have some shimmer to them. The white color is so perfect for highlighting under the eyes to make them appear much brighter, and make you look young and rested. The colors have a lot of pigment, so a little goes a long way. The blush colors are perfect for any skin tone. I am very fair and the colors work well for me. I have actually ended up using the brown for eyeshadow. It is a little dark for me in terms of using it to contour my face especially in the cheek area and around my jawline. It would work well for an olive complexion. Overall, this is one of my new “must haves” for my make-up bag.
