First, let me start by saying how shocked I was at the size of each color. They are very big and will last a while. I love the fact that the colors are matte finish. I have not been able to find many contour products that don’t have some shimmer to them. The white color is so perfect for highlighting under the eyes to make them appear much brighter, and make you look young and rested. The colors have a lot of pigment, so a little goes a long way. The blush colors are perfect for any skin tone. I am very fair and the colors work well for me. I have actually ended up using the brown for eyeshadow. It is a little dark for me in terms of using it to contour my face especially in the cheek area and around my jawline. It would work well for an olive complexion. Overall, this is one of my new “must haves” for my make-up bag.

This is my first Coastal Scents purchase and I will be buying more. I ordered these through Amazon and they arrived quickly as usual. The Palette contains colors for any occasion, work, going out, holidays it is wonderful. It has a large mirror so you can use that mirror to apply, also on either side of the mirror are dual tip applicators. I suppose they could of given a few more, but I use brushes to apply my eye make up any way so it was not big deal. In this kit you receive both matte and glittery shades, there seem to be more of the glittery colors. I have created numerous looks for days at work and for going out. I just love the shadows they go on very nicely, the colors are vibrant and they really last (using a shadow primer base). It was so inexpensive I am going to try another palette with different shades. This a great buy for your money, no more hunting through different eye shadow cases to find that perfect shade it is all in one place now!
Beautiful colors. They are the size of a dime which I expected from other CS palettes. This isn’t a problem unless you plan on wearing one color every day, in that case it won’t last long. The shadows are highly pigmented and apply and blend well. I highly recommend this palette for its large range of colors. It’s actually a very neutral palette with metallic finishes. I am a Black woman and these show up on me nicely with a shadow primer. I use different MAC paint pots for a base. Beautiful.
After contemplating for the longest while whether or not to purchase this palette, i finally did , and i LOVE it. No regrets on purchasing it!
Took a while to arrive (7days), but when it did it was packaged with alot of bubble wrap to ensure that the palette wasn’t damaged. Upon opening the pallet i observed none of the shadows had cracked and the condition was brand new.
The colours are highly pigmented and they blend very good. All the colours are gorgeous and with 88 different colours, your imagination can run wild.
I would highly recommend this pallet to anyone!
Its a really really great palette for under $20!! Its light weight and thin making it easy to travel with. I have a sephora palette but its really heavy, expensive and not travel friendly because it’ll crumb and crack. So it sucked when I had to travel and I couldn’t have a wide variety of eye shadows to use, which is why I really like the coast scents palette.
Great value, great brushes
The brushes are great, mine didn’t have the “chemical” smell that the other poster complained of. The brushes are very soft, they don’t shed, and they work really really well so far. I love them and I love that I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for them. They’re probably not AS GOOD as higher end products (like MAC brushes), but they work great for me.
