FRESH, AROMATIC, AND IMPRESSIVE!
First, a confession. I’m a cologne “snob,” preferring to wear only expensive Creed and Bond #9 scents. That’s why I was surprised in a very good way when I sprayed on Lacoste Challenge for men. The make-up of this cologne is every bit as classy as the high-end stuff. The fragrance starts off citrusy and very fresh; and instead of the top notes of tangerine, lemon, and bergamot burning off, they linger as the middle notes of ginger, lavender, and violet leaf (a note used in the best men’s cologne ever, Creed Green Irish Tweed) kick in some smooth spice and florals. Of course, what all colognes are left with eventually are the basenotes — usually wood notes (or musk — yuck!)for men’s colognes. This one has ebony wood and teak wood (no musk!) for an exceptionally smooth and slightly smokey finish. What’s so unique about this frag is that while the top, middle, and base notes open up into each other quite nicely, none of them completely disappear — and that’s a good thing. Plus, unlike some fragrances, none of the notes in this mix turn rancid or even sour as the day wears on. Always fresh and smooth, and long-lasting, too. Great for day and night, office and outside, and in any season of the year or of life. This one is destined, I believe, to be a men’s classic fragrance. And it’s one of the very few I would rank right up there with the boutique wallet-drainers from Creed and Bond. Grab a bottle and enjoy the heck out of this one!

Smeels great and last a long time (on some people)
I have always been a fan of Lacoste products and when i saw that Challenge was coming out I had to order some! And I’m glad I did. Challenge starts out with a somewhat citrusy scent and then over the day it mellows out into a more earthy wood scent. I will also say that if you have oily skin then this isn’t going to last as long on you as it might for someone who has drier skin. The time releasing “technology” that Lacoste has introduced is effected by skin oils which sucks for some men but even with oily skin you can expect this scent to stay with you for at least a few hours. I Highly recommend this product if you are looking for something that smells like i should have cost a lot more.

Lacoste’s Touch of Pink
Wonderful and long-lasting scent. First spraying it on, it was “just-ok” but as it lingered, on me at least, it became more subtle and powdery, which I like. The scent stays (on me) for a long time…which I was looking for.
(I recently tried Versace, which was “gone” by the time I’d walked out the store door…disappointing b/c I loved that scent, too.) Unfortunately, you now can only purchase this Lacoste scent online. Stores (other than perfume-oriented stores) no longer carry it. If you love it, stock up!!

Nice all occasion perfume
I am so happy I found this perfume. The price that Amazon offers is great for the large 3 oz size. Touch of Pink is a girly yet sophisticated floral perfume that can be worn for any occasion, from office to to a romantic outing. It’s a bit fruity (blood orange/peach) at first, but settles to a soft aroma of jasmine flowers with a touch of clean musk and the faintest hint of vanilla. It keeps you smelling clean and pretty all day long, and most people would find it very agreeable, even those with allergies to perfume. Also love Lacoste Pour Femme, which is less sweet, and more of a classic and clean smell. If you are looking for good everyday perfumes, especially ones for an office environment, Lacoste offers some great options that are affordable yet very well made.
